SI Ventures' team of managing directors and associates has
more than 100 collective years of experience in the information
technology industry. Manny Fernandez, Adam Rin and John Halligan,
have worked together for more than 10 years and are experienced
business experts and entrepreneurs. Their expertise and insight
into management, finance and software are an added value to
portfolio companies. They provide strategic direction, operating
advice and access to business contacts developed through years
of operational experience. Each is actively involved with
SI Ventures' portfolio companies.

N. Adam Rin, Ph.D.
Rin is former executive vice president of Gartner, where
he directed the company's analysts in its worldwide Research
and Advisory Services (RAS), Datapro and Dataquest divisions
for more than five years. Before this, he held various management
positions in the RAS division and was a leading analyst and
prolific author and speaker on applications development strategies.
His expansive knowledge of technology, marketing and management
make him a valuable asset to SI Ventures' portfolio companies.
Before joining Gartner, Rin held management positions in the
software industry, including vice president of product management
with Bachman, where he headed product planning and management
of the first commercially available reverse-engineering product.
Before this, he was vice president for product planning and
development at Computer Corporation of America, where he headed
the Model 204 database product line, and vice president, architect
and product manager of Ideal, the successful fourth-generation
language, at Applied Data Research. Prior to his management
positions in the software industry, Rin was assistant professor
of information systems at the University of Michigan Business
School.
Rin currently serves on the board of directors of Brainshark
Inc., Healinx Corp., Inceptor Inc., and FamilyTime.com Inc..
Rin earned doctorate and master's degrees in computer and
information sciences and a bachelor's degree in mathematics,
all from the University of Pennsylvania.
